Under the guise of protecting us, the firearms restrictions being proposed by our state and federal governments go far beyond a reasonable effort to protect our children, and have a different purpose.
The proposed gun restrictions are not about keeping Americans safe. They’re about control. Those rifles weigh heavy on the minds of people who want to eliminate our rights and force us to live by their decrees, to fundamentally change America.
They know that each restriction imposed by the government reduces the peoples’ ability to resist further changes, unwanted changes. We must not tolerate infringement of our freedoms. Or, we will find that the only way back to freedom is through violent rebellion.
A government that does not interfere with the right to keep and bear arms is a government we do not have to fear. Our modern guns in the hands of everyday citizens are the final check and balance preventing us from losing control of our government.
People have always been willing to break the peace and risk their lives to REGAIN their freedom. We can choose peaceful oppression or we can take a stand against it and say, “You’ve gone too far,” and refuse to comply at every level NOW.
The ownership of modern weapons would be a sure indication that we are not oppressed by tyrannical states and the federal administration.
They are “freedom rifles”.
Efforts to restrict our freedom of speech and religion are constant. We are no longer protected against unreasonable search and seizure. Our right to petition the Government for redress of grievances has been preemptively denied in many laws. There are lists of ‘suspects’ being compiled that restrict our ability to travel. And now they want to take the teeth out of the CITIZEN’S Bill Of Rights.
I can see no efforts to preserve our freedoms except by non-governmental organizations. The government and its media laugh at and dismiss these organizations. Laws already enacted by the government to provide for our health, safety, and well-being are coercive, and against the wishes of the people.
Such restrictions and requirements have already been imposed on a trusting and innocent American People in the name of our safety, well being, and fairness ‘for the good of the nation’. Obama and his followers’ audacity is growing. More restrictions and requirements are sure to come.
“This is my last election … After my election, I have more flexibility,” Obama whispered to an agent of a government whose intentions are not in America’s best interests.
As to the actual effort to carry out unconstitutional orders, in flagrant violation of the 2nd Amendment:
The individuals in law enforcement, Homeland Security, FBI, NSA, Secret Service, National Guard, etc. are not mindless machines. All of them are citizens. Each will decide whether he is being ordered to commit a crime. Some will comply. Some will recognize it for what it is. Some will: get the flu, quit, leak information, or become informants for the local resistance. Some will detain the commanders who give the order, and some will join the resistance. Members of the National Guard (who have access to everything from pistols to tanks to F-16s) will also have to make the same decisions.
Many, many citizens have military training and experience: there are huge numbers of grunts out there who have not forsworn their oath to defend the country from enemies, foreign and domestic. We are grunts, snipers, tank drivers, missile technicians, explosives experts, communications specialists, pilots, and tacticians: from privates to sergeant majors, butter bars to 4-stars, and seamen to admirals.
We are the best trained militia on the planet. And it is against the law to disarm us.
Thinking it is ‘just’ screwing the gun owners, the government would soon learn it had stuck its dick into a bees nest.
The 2nd Amendment, according to our enemies, reads: “A well regulated, disarmed population being necessary to the maintenance of an obedient subjugated state, there can be no right to keep and bear arms.”
The 2nd Amendment actually instructs the militia (armed citizens) to maintain our free state, and then makes it illegal for any government to disarm them.
By denying lawful citizens the right to own unregistered, modern weapons, the government would be destroying our ability as militiamen to carry out a future duty to force an oppressive government to stand down. We would lose that ability forever. They know this.
Obama, Reid, Pelosi, Feinstein, and others are conspiring to commit a ‘high crime’ and may become the domestic enemies against whom tens of millions of us have sworn to defend the country.
Commanders in law enforcement and the Natioanl Guard, it’s possible that you will have to decide whether to obey the people and officers placed above you, or obey the Constitution, a choice you haven’t faced before. Before you face that choice, before it is voted on, before an executive order is signed, tell your Commanding Officer whether or not you would comply with an order to confiscate the property of law-abiding Americans and shut down lawful commerce. If enough of you do so preemptively the unconstitutional order could be avoided.
“War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.”
We’ve faced this before, and won.
People, I hope you’re paying attention to the big picture, that you’re not being pacified by the polite smiles of the government officials you see every day.
Write your state and federal reps and senators. They are disconnected and haven’t thought this through.
Remind our state and federal governments that:
THEY are the servants.
WE are the masters.
