Education in America might change for the better …

Depending on how long the schools are closed …

Already in my area online classes are being proposed and people are looking into home schooling.

If the kids can pass standardized testing many couples with a stay-at-home parent will choose to continue homeschooling after the crisis passes. If the kids do well the states will have a hard time arguing against home schooling.

And, more parents would have a greater influence on their children’s upbringing and values. Fewer children would be exposed to radical thinking in their developmental years.

Watch for leftist state legislatures to make homeschooling difficult by burdening the parents with a lot of mandates, proposing a tax on homeschooling, or even making it illegal.

This could be an opportunity to break the leftist monopoly on education.
