Employers, if you start to look for courses taken and the grades earned in job applicants’ résumés, and not for degrees, a new kind of college that provides a menu of courses, and not degrees, will spring up to satisfy the employers and students. Ask about a job applicant’s education, not about a costly degree.
The old, course-packed, degree-oriented colleges would be pressured to get rid of questionable, college-mandated, politically-oriented courses or lose students.
Higher education would switch from being institution-oriented to student-oriented.
American entrepreneurs, there’s money to be made there.
Someday, “I don’t have a degree. I paid for a REAL education.”
… a more compassionate system is a fallacy. People can be compassionate, but not governments.
When a government defines everyone’s needs, and creates a system to satisfy those needs, AND, restricts all other choices and behavior, it destroys the motivation to do anything to improve one’s own lot in life. People are forced to look to the government for any improvement. That lack of motivation stifles creativity, innovation, competition, and ambition.
Socialism is systematic restriction to control behavior. It is not compassionate.
America became great because people were expected to fend for themselves. People saw one’s lot in life rise and fall according to how hard and smart they worked. That is the exact opposite of socialism.
Socialists are like grown men and women who don’t leave home. They remain dependent children. They never become adults who move out to live on their own.
SOCIALISM IS FOR LOSERS.
The People must maintain domination over their government. If the government ceases to act in the best interests of The People and instead acts to gather power and control, The People must have arms suitable for revolution. The People are the ultimate check and balance over a government that’s gone rogue.
If the liberals can disarm America and gain control of the Government we will see a huge change in the mission of the Department of Homeland Security. Instead of looking outward for threats against America, its mission will change to protecting the government’s control over The People. The Liberals will coordinate the media and the DHS to eliminate any hint of opposition.

It is our duty to preserve every freedom.
The 2nd Amendment is clear.
“A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.”
‘Well regulated’ means ‘properly functioning’.
The 2nd Amendment acknowledges that the militia (individual armed citizens) are the guardians of our free state and tasks them with maintaining it. The Amendment forbids the government to infringe on The People’s Right to Keep and Bear Arms.
The very existence of the Amendment is a warning to be wary of the government, that we may someday have to use arms against a rogue government that no longer acts in the best interests of The People and threatens the free state.
Freedom is more important, more cherished than safety. People throughout history have overthrown their oppressors by rejecting the safety of compliance, breaking the peace, and risking their lives to be free.

We must not tolerate being disarmed by a government we might someday have to resist with violence. And, we would need modern weapons to maintain a meaningful, tacit threat.

If Cruz’s jail cell were left open to a mob of liberals angered by the shooting, he would be in no danger.
He’s not their enemy.
In countries where gun ownership is restricted, the governments always pass more restrictions and enact more oppressive controls affecting businesses and everyday life. It’s always a package deal. Gun control is never the only thing they do to the people. The people of those countries lose control of their governments.
We’ve already had a taste of the liberals’ attempts to impose controls.
Obama and the liberal congress forced unworkable healthcare and restrictions and fines down our throats. In other actions he deliberately and openly bypassed the legislative process because he knew he would be stopped. By bypassing the legislative process he shielded the liberal lawmakers, and cut The People’s connection to the legislative process.
His minions throughout government, the media, activist groups, and mobs: tried to control TV and radio broadcasts, interfered with the voting of servicemen overseas, intimidated conservative voters at the polling stations, used the IRS to suppress support for conservative candidates, used the EPA to stop job creation, tried to stop all displays of religious beliefs in public, and more.
The citizens’ Bill of Rights is used by the progressive liberals as a list of what needs to be destroyed for them to gain total control. The progressives lie when they take the oath of office. The oath is nothing to them.
We are in a simmering civil war – It’s the Americans against the liberals.
