Not everybody who has received unemployment benefits for a long time is motivated to find work. Many have adjusted to the lower income and are simply waiting for another extension.
Just mentioning an effort to sort the needy from the lazy is met with loud cries of, “Racism! Cruelty! No compassion!”
There must be verification. There must be consequences for committing fraud.

The activists are afraid that Mr Robertson, a very popular person, will again express views with which they disagree. So they exerted pressure to silence him. Whereas, no one is trying to silence the activists. We defend their right to express their views.
I don’t want any activists forcing their choices on me.
The 1st Amendment acknowledges the right to express opinions others disagree with.

I saw the witnesses interviewed.
When I hear someone in an affluent area say, “This is such a nice area. I never expected it. I’ve always felt safe,” I want to remind them they’re living in a neighborhood full of things criminals want.
Reminds me of this:

The parents of that school are not hanging together. They are allowing each unjustly punished student to face the injustice alone. The parents need to rally round the suspended student and his parents. If all of the parents who disapproved of the suspension gave their kids permission to hug a willing teacher or two, no one would be punished for it. There’s money involved. Reduced attendance affects the school’s budget.
It would be even better if hundreds of kids did it on their own.

obama, sebelius & co are issuing decrees. The latest one is that the sign up period has been extended to Dec 31st and that the insurers should approve applications as late as Dec 31st so that coverage will be in place on Jan 1st. AND, that even if an application has not been processed, and a premium has not been paid before a claim is submitted, the insurer should cover the cost.
These decrees have no force of law.
The insurers are between a rock and a hard place: to obey the law or do what obama says.
Their lawyers will tell them to obey the law. Not just because it’s the law, but because there is going to be a huge insurance/doctor/hospital clusterf..k and they’ll want to point to the law to defend themselves.

obama & co will do everything they can to deflect blame despite the FACT that the destruction of the system is entirely the fault of the liberals. The vote on obamacare is recorded history.
Expect more decrees that do not have the force of law.

With the current administration creating/controlling the online payment system for obamacare, will the payments be directed to the government for later distribution to the health care system? How does the money flow? How will payments be made? Will the government take a cut when it passes through its hands?
Do you think they someday might try to mandate declaration of where your pay is direct deposited, and where your stock dividends and bond interest is deposited?
Would the government ever try to mandate direct debit of those accounts to pay taxes and premiums?
Just thinking out loud. … But, they do want your money.
